What do I Provide as a Postpartum Doula?
I support families in the first few weeks or months after childbirth . My role is to ensure a smooth transition into parenthood by offering emotional, physical, and practical assistance tailored to each family's needs. My goal is to create a safe place for mothers to exist after welcoming a new baby. I provide invaluable support in caring for your newborn, helping you and your partner feel more confident and at ease in your new role. From guidance on newborn care to supporting a mother as she heals and assisting with feeding whether breastfeeding, bottle feeding, or both I am here to help. As long as I am here you never have to be alone on your journey through motherhood.
Sibling Doula Support
What is a Sibling Doula?
A sibling doula is a type of doula who provides care and support specifically for older siblings during the birth of a new baby. Their role is to help the older child(ren) feel safe, supported, and included during what can be a big and sometimes emotional transition.
Welcoming a new baby brings significant changes to the entire family, and a postpartum doula helps ease this transition with compassionate support. I assist parents in adjusting to their new roles while ensuring they prioritize self care and emotional well being. For families with older siblings, I provide guidance on fostering a positive bond between them and the baby, helping minimize feelings of jealousy or disruption. I also offer practical assistance in balancing household responsibilities, establishing new routines, and managing daily challenges. My role is to create a nurturing environment where every family member feels supported, reassured, and confident as they navigate this new chapter together.
